About Me
Hello! My name is Mary Catherine Adams, and I recently graduated from Georgia Tech with a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering. My research focuses on biomaterials, with a particular focus on synthetic nucleic acids. My thesis work includes projects studying both aptamers (single stranded oligonucleotides that bind non-nucleotide targets) and nucleic acid detection assays.
